Alright Folks, the past two months sure have flown by faster than a speeding hotrod!  It's high tide for summer riding season and there just doesn't seem to be enough weekends available to squeeze in all the great stuff happening and all the great benefits and charity rides.  One thing I have learned for certain.... Riding season directly conflicts with my daughter's softball games!  So if I have missed a few things here and there, that's why.  But hey, your children are only young once and you just hate to miss those softball games!

Anyway, back to Ride Wide Open.  I just want to take the time to thank everyone for all of the outpouring support we have received over the past couple months.  It's a great feeling to know that we play an integral part of helping your groups, your rides, and your benefits.  We will continue to do all we can to help out as much as we can.  With that said, be sure to sign up for your FREE account on www.ridewideopen.com so you can add/update/post your events for FREE!  There's been a few things pouring in for the free classified section as well so hopefully that will be getting more active too.  So remember, if you have anything that you need to sell or buy, be sure to post or look for it on here as well.

Some may say I'm crazy, some may say I'm a gluten for punishment, but RWO is going to be introducing a new section to the magazine, TATTOOS.  No bike required.  You don't even need to have a hot rod, a quad, etc.  You just need a tattoo that you want so share with your fellow RWO readers.  You have to admit, virtually every tattoo you come across has a story behind it, or maybe just a reasoning behind it.  Doesn't matter what, why or how, we want to see it!  Just drop me a line on Facebook, send me an email at info@ridewideopen.com, or if you see me out and about, just go ahead and shout it out! 

Speaking of adding a new section, RWO is also adding more writers, columnists, etc.  If you have a passion for writing, like to get a good story, or just want to have fun and have your work published, be sure to drop me a line as well. 

And one last thing, if you haven't been out to the Legion Riders bike night at the State College American Legion yet, be sure to make it real soon. They only have 2 remaining for the season!  Check the events calendar for details.
