Who are the Pink Ribbon Riders:

The Pink Ribbon Riders is a volunteer based organization of caring men and women that raise finds to help both men and women breast cancer patients. Funds raised are distributed directly to breast cancer patients through the Pink Ribbon Riders assistance program. The Pink Ribbon Riders started their first fundraising event in New York State and in 2009-2010 through volunteer support will hold 12 fundraising events through out the USA.

Are the Pink Ribbon Riders a non-profit organization?

Answer: Yes. Pink Ribbon Riders is a 501 C(3) not-for-profit organization. And incorporated in the State of Michigan. All donations are tax deductible. Donations of $250.00 or more receive a receipt.

If I choose to donate to the Pink Ribbon Riders, how will my money be used?

Answer: Your donations will be used to support men and women in need, that have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Both men and women are encouraged to apply to the fund. We try and help all of those that apply as long as fund are available. Pink Ribbon Riders has a Breast Cancer Assistance Program that allows men or women diagnosed with breast cancer apply for help. The assistance is given in a once a year up to $500 in a gift card. The recipient can then use the gift card to pay medical bills, gas money to treatments, or even for food.

Pink Ribbon Riders also provides free educational and medical resources to men and women at public appearances. Some of the materials are provided free to us to hand out, and some we may have to pay for. We try very hard to only seek materials that we can provide to the public with no cost to the Pink Ribbon Riders organization. We are not medical professionals, so we only pass forward information from credible organizations.

Pink Ribbon Riders is a volunteer based organization and donor supported, which means that we could not do the work we do with out the support of great people like you. Together we are making a difference for those diagnosed by providing financial assistance when the patient needs our help the most.

Current Facts:

* Pink Ribbon Riders seeks patients from the local communities in which we hold fundraising events to give back through the Pink Ribbon Riders Assistance Program. The family is always invited to be a part of the day.

Pink Ribbon Riders is able to give funds to patients that apply for assistance in the states in which we fundraise in first. The states in which we consider applicants first are: New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Wyoming, North Dakota.

We also pay close attention to where the participants from our fundraising events come from as we help the surrounding states of our events. If there is enough funds during application times, we try to help all that apply to us.
